Griego-Alessi Large Bore Tenor Trombone
Our primary objective in creating the Griego-Alessi line
was to provide you with both a great mouthpiece as well as a great mouthpiece series.
Each series (1, 3, 5 or 7) currently has four models (A, C, E or F*)
with identical cup diameters and rim shapes. The differences between
the mouthpieces in each series are in the cup depths and throat dimensions.
* B and D cups will be available soon
What this means for you...
Once you have chosen the mouthpiece that best suits your playing, you should be able to move freely among the other mouthpieces in that series to find the optimal cup depths and throat dimensions to satisfy your musical requirements.
We have taken great care to keep the specifications of the Griego-Alessi mouthpieces exact and to Joseph Alessi's high standards. To that end, no alterations were made to the rim or cup dimensions of any mouthpieces produced for previous Alessi lines. We have, however, introduced the new 7 Series, which combines the cup diameter of Bach 5 mouthpieces with all the excellent qualities of the Griego-Alessi line.
